Kidz Krazy Days


FOR KIDS GOING INTO K-5th GRADE

June 22nd, June 29th, July 6th, and July 13th
9:00 a.m. - Noon @ the FLC


Cost is $1.00 per child and includes a sack lunch

Waivers for all children must be signed by parents and on file.

Well Mondays for Women

Cost is $10.00 per participant and $1.00 per child for childcare*


● Well Mondays for Women is a great opportunity for women to get a personal workout, hear special interest topics, and enjoy lunch.
● Childcare is available for Babies-5th grade for $1.00 per child. Children going into 1st-5th grades will participate in the Kidz Krazy Days activities.

The FLC is Going on Mission

That's right, a team of 10 volunteers representing Hilldale Baptist Church's Family Life Center went to Eastern Venezuela. While there they presented the Gospel through creative recreation, sports, and fitness. They worked in parks as well as schools. Thanks for all the prayers and support.

Descriptions:

Cardio SculptingAll fitness levels—This ladies only class specializes in our specific problem areas; hips, thighs and abs. The key components are strength training using low weights and high reps, cardio exercises to push the heart rate into the fat burning zone, and flexibility to promote long, lean muscles.

Mat PilatesAll fitness levels—Improve your overall strength, posture and balance using the basic principles of Pilates and yoga stretch. Participants use a mat to conduct beginner-level exercises in this low-key 60-minute class focusing on abdominal strength and flexibility.

Power ChiselAll fitness levels with easy beginner and advanced power options given This interval class combines cardio sessions with weight training to “chisel” your body. You will raise your heart rate, burn calories, strengthen, tone and shape your muscles.

Sculpt & ToneAll fitness levels—Put some definition in your muscles with this total body workout. You will strengthen and tone using equipment like hand weights and stability ball, in addition to floor exercises on a mat. See results and watch your strength improve with this 60 minute power class.

Sit to Be FitBeginner level or those desiring a low impact work out—Sit to Be Fit is a 45 minute exercise program especially designed with senior adults in mind. You will tone and strengthen their body's major muscle groups by using hand weights while seated in a chair. Come give it a try and bring a friend!

Step It Up!All fitness levels—Get moving with this high energy, step aerobics class. Meet your friends and enjoy a great cardio workout with fun music and easy to follow step patterns. Your session closes out with an “ab lab” and a relaxing stretch session. Don’t miss it!

Zumba All fitness levels, teens to active seniors—This ladies only high energy class eliminates the “work” from “working out” by combining amazing, irresistible Latin and international music with dynamic, yet simple exercise moves. Even those with two left feet are successful in Zumba because of the natural flow of the simple steps. Ditch the work out and join the party!

All classes are $2.00 & open to the public.

Non-members WELCOME!

Weekly Orientation Schedule

Orientation is required for everyone wishing to join the facility. No appointment is necessary and all membership paperwork can be done during orientation. The following times are available each week:
Monday at 11:00 a.m.
Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday at 6:30p.m.
Please bring a photo ID (such as a driver's license).

  • Sunday Mornings at 11:00 a.m.
  • Casual dress - Come as you are


  • Life Groups for all ages begin at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday morning before worship service.

  • Please ask our greeters at each door to help you find a class for each of your family members.
Wednesday Evening Activities
  • Wednesday Night Meals ~ served from 5:oo p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the FLC dining room. Cost is $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children.


  • All other church activities (Prayer Meeting & Bible Study, Youth, Children's Missions, Adult Choir Rehearsal, etc) will be held at the main campus (2001 Madison Street) at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday: 5:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

Membership:

  • Family Life Center membership is required in order to use the recreation facility
  • Memberships are available to Hilldale Baptist Church Members (paid annually) as well as Non-Hilldale Church Members (paid monthly or annually with no contract required). We refer to Non-Hilldale Church Members as "Community Members." These rates are as follows (we lowered Community Membership rates effective May 6, 2009).

Single-Monthly $30 or Yearly $300

Couple-Monthly $50 or Yearly $500

Family-Monthly $60 or Yearly $600

  • Required items for membership include a completed membership application, signed waiver, copy of drivers license or other photo ID, paid membership fee and a completed orientation.
  • Orientations are required for all members within 30 days of registration. This takes about 30 minutes and are scheduled 3 times/week (see orientation schedule above).
Group Fitness Class:
  • We offer a full group fitness program with classes offered every weekday morning as well as evening classes on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights. We have Senior Adult classes, stepping classes, sculpt and tone classes, interval circuit training classes, Pilates as well as Zumba. The classes are open to the public. Non-members are welcome. The cost is $2.00 per class.

    Racquetball Court:
    The racquetball court may be reserved by a FLC member one (1) day or 24 hours in advance by calling the FLC at 368-0205. Reservations are for one (1) hour only. Waiting time is 15 minutes before reservation is lost. No back-to-back reservations are allowed. You may reserve the court for racquetball or walleyball. Protective eye wear is required and is available for checkout along with the other necessary equipment

    Walking / Jogging Track:
    The FLC gymnasium is surrounded by a rubber floored walking/jogging track. If a daily fitness walk could be put in a pill, it would e one of the best prescriptions in the world. Walking can reduce the risk of many diseases and it's safe, simple and doesn't require practice. It's one of your body's most natural forms of exercise. The walking/jogging track is for any member 6th grade and above.

    Weight Room / Cardio Deck:
    Every year you promise to join the gym, workout more, and get into better shape. Now is the time! The FLC is loaded with everything you need to get you on the path to health and wellness. Our staff will offer equipment orientation for all FLC participants. In the cardio area, there are treadmills, elliptical runners and recumbent bikes. In the weight room, there is a wide variety of machines and free weights. Start your workout session now!


    Game Room:
    We want to invited you to come and join the fun in the FLC Game Room. We have two pool tables, air hockey, ping pong, and foosball. The game tables are open to all FLC participants except during worship hours or during special events. The equipment for the tables is provided and can be checked out at the front counter.
